Dependable: We understand that trust is earned, not given. To earn your trust, every Butler customer can expect dependable, reliable, and honest work every time. You won’t encounter unfamiliar subcontractors with Butler, your technician will always be a full-time, licensed, and certified Butler employee.
Consultative: This begins with a call when we are in route to your home. While at your home we will thoroughly go over findings, repairs and/or replacement options, and costs with you so that you, the customer, can make informed decisions about your home’s HVAC system. We’ll proceed with your choice.
Meticulous: We’ll stick to the Butler way because we believe in it. We check, test, and start every new installation and verify that your new system is properly charged and installed to ensure that you are getting exactly what you paid for. Being off, even slightly, can impact the efficiency and effectiveness of your system.
Trained: Our service techs will accurately diagnose and identify your problem and offer custom solutions to correct it instead of relying on changing parts until the system functions properly again. If, for some reason, we don’t get it right the first time, we’ll be back on our dime to fix it.
Certified: Our service technicians are NATE and CFC Certified and factory trained. All of our installation technicians are EPA certified and factory-trained by our manufacturers. Our project managers design for, not only local code, but comfort too, based on your needs.
Clean: We’ll apply shoe coverings every time we enter your home, apply floor coverings where necessary, and always clean up when our work is completed.
Community: Butler has been serving the greater Dayton area since 1949 and we love our community. We show that by remaining local, and donating time and resources to several local organizations that serve the good of our community. In an era in which private equity companies and national chains have taken over our industry, we remain local. That means our technician is always dispatched from right here in the Dayton area. That also means that we pay our taxes locally for those funds to be reinvested in our community.

Some companies in our industry operate without a license and some fail to obtain a county or city permit for the work they perform at your home.These are sad facts that hurt the consumer and their property and gives our industry a sometimes questionable reputation. At Butler Heating & Air Conditioning there is only one way we do business with our customers: the right way with the respect and the professionalism they deserve.
Another important fact is that new high efficiency furnaces require more airflow than older equipment, which means more often than not, duct work changes are required. A new high efficiency furnace will not give you the proper efficiencies if certain airflow requirements are not present or corrective changes are not made. If the current air conditioning or heat pump system cooled your home 15 years ago, and you have upgraded your windows, insulation, attic-ventilation, etc., smaller equipment may be required, saving you more money in energy and equipment costs. As you can see, it is a combination of properly sized equipment, airflow technology and expert installation that provide comfort for your family.
